Cabanon

Across all their projects, KM’s design values seek to maximize the living potentiality of each space regardless of its function. Here in this attic a sloped ceiling, which can often be deemed an undesirable feature, inspired a unique design. Fragmented metal sheeted ceiling panels embedded with lighting were custom designed and give the space a distinct character with rhythm and dynamism. With walnut wall coverings, dark bronze and brown paint, a slightly darker palette lead the eye to the two large windows at both ends of the room. While one window faces the meticulously landscaped elegant garden of the home, the other embraces the ever changing beauty of the Bosphorus.
