Urban Oasis

This townhouse situated very close to the financial district, atop Gayrettepe hill, overlooks both the city and the Bosphorus. The project was to unify two adjacent duplex penthouse flats into a single one, to reconfigure and open up space to enhance light and airiness. The upper floor consists of two bedroom suites, reached from separate staircases at both ends of the residence. Bedroom, bathroom and dressing rooms are seamlessly connected to each other, reminiscent of a five-star hotel room with the comfort of home.

The lower floor is a unified common space consisting of a dining area, fireplace, living room and bar. All spaces flow into one another but are slightly separated. Artworks collected over the years, make a statement on the backdrops that were designed to make them stand out. The furnishings enhanced by the use of refined materials such as oak wood, patinated bronze, touches of genuine leather and serpeggiante marble, add a breath of luxury to the clean, contemporary aesthetic. All together, they form a modern ensemble, turning the space into a haven of peace in the heart of a super hectic city.
